Well, let's see... Reused, out of place joke from a good movie. Poorly acted. Bad music. OOC premise. At best this unoriginal diversion is practice, and not worth exposing to an audience, so how did it find itself on the front page?

nny-156 ~ Perhaps I'm not the authority, but his reaction to Germaine's admission seemed to be based on her promiscuity rather than the lesbian overtones.

As for the episode itself, I've expressed similar opinions on the Gay Marriage issue - which runs in contrast to both the views of my parents and a lot of my friends. There are far more important things people should be arguing about that have much more dire implications than anything Gay Marriage might realistically cause.

By the way - while I'm here - I've been going through the backlog of episodes and I like the Connecticut reboot. So many people complained vehemently that these cartoons were reusing the same art assets (something I never had a problem with), and it's good to see the cleaner line art. The direction Germaine's side-story had gone down was becoming increasingly depressing and I'm glad you basically abandoned it in favor of revamping the series.

Foamy still rules.

If this isn't on the front page in the near future, there's something wrong with this site. Well done, sir. I'm going to enjoy life on planet Paper.

Thanks and have fun !

It's got a lot of good in it...

The visuals are epic, and the 3D designs for the various characters are spot-on. The setting - a deathmatch in an undisclosed location - is great. The music is ok, though it doesn't really set the pace correctly.

However, the sound effects (body hits, weapons fire, etc.) are all kinda muffled and some are mistimed. Even a lot of the voices sound like they were recorded from inside a water tank. Perhaps it's a question of compression or whatnot, but the sound leaves something to be desired.

I kept waiting for something intersting to happen.

It didn't... This is the single longest string of completely useless conversation I have ever heard. It's beautiful.

I honestly couldn't tell you how long this is because I left in the middle, went and took a dump, and came back while it was still running. It turns out I ate corn some time this week, and that was the most interesting thing I learned during my view of this flash.

I give this a 9.95 because TMNT was awesome. Having said that I now need to stick my finger in a wall socket so I might be able to forget the 90s.

Whichever of you drew a broken bottle lashed to a spear pole deserves a Greatest Achievement in Comedic Racism award.

Eight years ago...

I saw this coming eight years ago. It's nice to see Germaine finally growing up and realizing she's been fooling herself all this time. Germaine is a character of extremes, conflict and neurosis - likely the inspiration for the title "Neurotically Yours." Foamy is not the neurotic one as he isn't ever conflicted about what he thinks or says about anything. Germaine, on the other hand, is a worrying, conflicted procrastinator who constantly changes her mind about almost everything she thinks or says - that's textbook neurosis.

Germaine has been on a continual downward spiral since the series began. The thought of seeing her transition to a new paradigm is certainly a refreshing one. Foamy will still berate her no matter what she does, I imagine, but that's their dynamic.

The various squirrels that appear on the show, one might say, each exhibit different aspects of Germaine's psyche. The raging, belligerent Foamy is her conscience and id, dominating her actions and generating much of her inner conflict. Pill-popping, agoraphobic Pillz-E is her fearful inner child trying desperately to control situations that are innately chaotic. Techno-savvy, though rarely seen, Begley is her introspective side - which may be why they get along well, and also why she rarely looks inward for answers (because he's rarely around). Street-wise racist cliche, The Hatta' seems to be the leftover baggage - the untidy, misdirected thoughts and complaints she doesn't like having, but still tug at her actions.

Foamy would probably berate me for saying this, but I think the show's always been about Germaine. She's the only character in the series that has ever had any real changes (as they say in Shakespearean tragedies, 'transcendence') - for better or worse. Foamy just kinda steals the show whenever he's around (which seems to be almost always), but Germaine is the one who actually changes.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Take them or leave them, it's what I've gotten out of this series so far.

I'm worried about Foamy, really...

It seems to me like he'd up and leave if he didn't depend on Germaine for something. By that I mean that she must have something to do with his upkeep if he continues hanging around with her, because it's most certainly not the unconditional love of a pet for its master...

What would happen to Foamy if Germaine were to become the next guest Jane Doe in the city morgue? It's something to think about...

It might make for an interesting story to see how that turned out... like a dream episode or something.

I think I'm gonna be violently ill because I just made a suggestion to a capable, creative artist, and I hate being that guy.

I'm surprised Youtube didn't catch this...

You can clearly see Germaine's areola peeking through one of the holes in her shirt... I mean here on Newgrounds it's passe, but they're sticklers over there for that kind of thing.

It's a good episode. Those quizzes are usually pretty inaccurate, though. I had one tell me once that I'm very politically minded and may hold or be running for some public office... which is totally absurd.

Germaine is a dirty whore and a soulless poet... or a soulless whore and a dirty poet... or something like that.

I recall waitinf in line for my PS2...

That was the first and last time I ever waited up all night in the freezing cold October air just to spend $300 on a paperweight that wasn't actually useful until 6 months later.

It was oh so epic being able to gloat about having one, though.

I laughed so hard...

I think I almost had an aneurysm. Very short, but full of awesome.

Somewhere between the incandescent dreams cascading through my subconscious, and the derisive reality signifying eternal discontent, I ride a wavelength above conceptualization, but below the apex of understanding, awaiting an epiphany.
