That kicked ass..

What exactly happened to Steve though? Demonic posession? Bad cheese? Uncontrollable bowel movement?

Electric-Celery responds:

Actually, a little of all three...

If you're going to make flame flash...

At least attempt to make it better than the so-called 'crap' you're trying to torch.

UglyBastard responds:

If you're going to defend an artist that you worship so much....

At least make it seem like you're not kissing ass.

Comedy is supposed to be all about timing.

If this was supposed to be funny you failed. The art isn't bad (it has some amount of style at least), but the 'jokes' are told too slowly and with virtually no acting. It might be witty if it sounded like the characters were actually reacting instead of just reading off a tele-prompter.

You also tend to linger on scenes where nothing is happening. You read the note outloud, then sat the camera there for like 3 hours. Once the information is delivered there's no reason to be looking at the note.

I know they're robots, but they shouldn't sound like a computer reading code... try some personification.

Frogcloset responds:

it had some nice timing and if you were here with me you could see that but whenever i upload something the sound goes all over the place (but thank for the constructive review thats the sort of thing i dont mind instead of "you a big bummer with a gay ass flash")

That reminded me of ren and stimpy...

The sense of humor and the type of cartoon animation were very fitting.

I gave it a 5, 'cause I think it should be doing better than a 3.1. If there was more to it (I was expecting the stick with the... stick... to clothes-line the other guy at the end) but it just kinda cut off.

I bet if you'd switched the negative...

Other people would have been able to look past their snobby noses to see this is a very well thought out flash.

Closed minded fools.

Keep at it, though. Sometimes the solitary voice is the only one that should to be heard.

Good for a chuckle.

Could have used some music, but it's not all bad. A little more overacting would have been better on the part of Joey.

I personally don't think joking about anyone's...

death makes for a good April fool's joke.

But doing so and imitating the clock crap at the same time is just plain wrong. You get all 0s from me.

biblo responds:

Imitating? You think I'm imitating the clocks?!

I concur.

There should be more nudity in zelda games.

I hope to see the rest...

of the game like this. Very funny stuff.

Contrary to killachika's review, that wasn't Sims' music at the mall. It was the house interior theme from Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link (a remix rather).

I love the Kill Bill sequence, and Navi is still Link's verbal bitch slap with wings. It would also seem that Link is a hopeless romantic (in every sense of the sentiment).

My only complaint is the lack of cinsistancy with the voice acting. Some lines are done really poorly while a lot of them sound good. It seems like you gave the actors the line (some of them were rather difficult) and kept the first take -- where a second or third try would have sounded better. Also, the voices tend to get drowned out by the sound effects and music, but that's a lot more difficult to deal with considering the adjustment limitations within Flash (you end up having to do all the mixing in another program before ever adding it in, which is a real pain in the arse and slows down the production).

The rest of it, however -- especially the artwork and animation -- makes up for the shortcomings in the sound department (at least you're not using text bubbles or canned voice-overs). Overall, It's certainly a lot better than about 95% of the submissions made to NG. With some tweaks it would be immaculate.

Stick figures suck.

See above.

razzzzzzz responds:

You suck?

Somewhere between the incandescent dreams cascading through my subconscious, and the derisive reality signifying eternal discontent, I ride a wavelength above conceptualization, but below the apex of understanding, awaiting an epiphany.
