You're being honest with yourself and what you say is true, but everything you've submitted has come away with honors. NG honors, yes, but you are still recognized for the hours you've clocked in the 'windowless room'.
Definitely do do something with all those old projects :3 The Sagitarian series by Hyptosis proves the crowd loves a story... maybe there's a way to plug that into a fresh perspective.
